Ailsa Black

The Ailsa Black collection is a range of Gift and Homewares created using the designs of Scottish artist Ailsa Black. Ailsa trained at Gray's School of Art in Aberdeen where she studied Graphic Design and Illustration.

Today she works from her seaside studio in the tiny Scottish village of Carsethorn where she is inspired by the beautiful coast and landscape of Dumfries and Galloway. Her work captures the happiness and simplicity of the good things in life and features the birds, animals and surrounding countryside.

Ailsa has exhibited at the Royal Glasgow Institute and Paisley Art Institute, and in 2017 was listed as one of 25 ‘top UK influential art brands’ to watch.

Her initial collection consists of two themes; ‘Farm Yard Locals’ and ‘The Good Life’.
